uPVC Ramps

Uneek PVC Ramps AND access solutions

Uneek ramps for disabled and elderly people are robust, non slip and aesthetically pleasing. Our ramps are tailor made to suit individual access requirements.

We have in the past fitted ramps to homes, schools, care homes, static caravans and lodges to name a few. Our ramps feature a slip-resistant surface and are virtually maintenance-free. The ramps are even suitable for listed buildings as they are demountable meaning installation does not require planning permission.

Whether you need a ramp system to facilitate wheelchair or scooter access or simply to provide a steady rise to overcome steps, then Uneek can build the ramp for you.

RAMPS

Not everyone wants a concrete and tubular steel ramp outside the front or back door. Our PVC ramps are not only utilitarian, but offer a much more aesthetically pleasing solution to your home. Until a short time ago people had very little choice, if you needed a ramp standardly concrete was the only real option available, now you can have a ramp that looks good on any house. We are getting approached by more and more Occupational Therapists and district councils, because when a person moves, the ramp can be taken apart and most of the component parts can be re-used, saving money and indeed this can be done relatively quickly i.e. a couple of hours to dismantle a standard sized ramp, with next to no disruption to our clients and or neighbours, This can then be transported and re-fitted to another home. Obviously not all homes have the same heights to the door threshold, the beauty with this product means it can be altered, so most of the materials don’t have to be purchased again.

As with all of our products, every job is surveyed by us to make sure that when we come to install a ramp, it will usually be fitted within one day dependent on size of course, but you will be advised as to how long the job will take on our first inspection.

If the ramp is for a registered disabled person we can normally have the installation done without the Vat. Again this is subject to the client or carer filling out a form for our records and to satisfy the tax office.

We offer a free visit to discuss what you would like and to see weather you have enough area to run the ramp at the correct gradient, please note that not all properties will be able to have a ramp at the required gradient, in such cases we will look to the Occupational Therapist to guide us as to weather we are allowed to change the gradient to fit the premises and indeed your needs.
